Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail store operations. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store, including staff management, inventory control, sales performance, customer satisfaction, visual merchandising, and compliance with company policies and regulations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a focus on delivering a superior shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise store employees.
- Develop work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support.
Inventory Control:
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Place orders to replenish inventory in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and manage stock discrepancies.
Sales & Profitability:
- Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Implement initiatives to maximize store profitability and operational efficiency.
Customer Service:
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Foster strong customer relationships to drive loyalty and repeat business.
Visual Merchandising:
- Maintain attractive store displays and ensure merchandise is well-organized.
- Implement promotional campaigns and seasonal layouts to enhance the shopping experience.
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Manage store budgets, expenses, and financial reporting.
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Business or Retail Management preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of retail management experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and POS software.
- Ability to analyze sales data and drive results.
